Amor and Jonathan (the owners of Rinata Restaurant in Minneapolis) decided to take on a new venture when Jonathan moved to Bryn Mawr neighborhood in Minneapolis, and noticed the lack of a restaurant. After about a week of living in Bryn Mawr, Jonathan fell in love with a location for Sparks -- and decided (withAmor) to take the leap.
Sparks' concept came to them shortly after they signed their lease. They decided on a wood burning oven that would harness many types of foods and cuisines. The beverage menu would have a variety of local beers on draft, and wines from around the world. Keeping the prices low enough for a wide ranging
demographic would always be kept in mind.
Now that the restaurant is open Jonathan and Amor will focus on their concept with a seasonal menu, ever changing draft list, and feeding our neighbors.
